Author's Bio

Peg Alford Pursell is a writer, editor, teacher, and literary community builder. She's the author of SHOW HER A FLOWER, A BIRD, A SHADOW (ELJ Editions, March 2017; second edition: WTAW Press, September 2017), a book of hybrid prose featured by Poets & Writers second annual "5 over 50" (December 2017).

Her work has been published in VOLT, The Cortland Review, RHINO, Permafrost, Eleven Eleven, Tupelo Quarterly, The Los Angeles Review, The Quotable, Joyland, Annalemma, Sugar Mule, Journal of Compressed Arts, and others.

She's the curator of the Why There Are Words Literary Reading Series in the Bay Area and founding editor of WTAW Press.
