Author's Bio

Sara O. Fetherolf (she/they) is a poet, essayist, librettist, storyteller & witch. She was born in Southern California, raised in Tornado Country, and came of age amidst the back roads and abandoned factories of western New Jersey. They are the winner of the Iron Horse Long Story award for their debut work of short fiction, “The Place,” an Academy of American Poets University Prize, & the Cloudbank Poetry Prize. She has an MFA degree in poetry from Hunter College, and is currently a Dornsife Fellow in the PhD for Literature and Creative Writing at University of Southern California. They live in Long Beach, next to a well-worn stretch of Pacific Ocean.
