Author's Bio

Stacy Bierlein is the author of the story collection A Vacation on the Island of Ex-Boyfriends (Elephant Rock Books, 2012) and a co-editor of the short fiction anthology Men Undressed: Women Writers and the Male Sexual Experience (OV Books/Dzanc Books, 2011). Her award-winning anthology of international fiction, A Stranger Among Us: Stories of Cross Cultural Collision and Connection, was used in university classrooms across the country. She was a founding editor for two independent presses, Other Voices Books and Emerald Bay Books. As an editor, advisor, and manuscript consultant she has worked with more than 200 writers in the United States and abroad.
