Katherine Higgs-Coulthard will present a workshop exploring the question of what keeps a reader in the story? She will share strategies for creating well-developed characters. Infusing characters with passion, purpose and place will pull readers into the story and make them care about what happens to the characters. We'll work through some examples and attendees will leave with a better idea of who they're writing about.
