Editorial Focus

The Brooklyn Review is looking for innovative new poetry, fiction, performance texts, nonfiction and visual art, particularly from BIPOC voices and perspectives.

Tips From the Editor

The Brooklyn Review has scheduled reading periods for fiction and poetry but accepts nonfiction and visual arts submissions year-round. Please submit only one work per reading period in any given genre, and please submit only original, previously unpublished works. Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but please let them know if your work is accepted elsewhere.
