Editorial Focus

The Poetry Porch is a magazine on the internet for poets, teachers, and their students. First appearing online in 1997, it is only published online. It is interested in original unpublished poems, essays, reviews, memoirs, and fiction, although it might republish work as a special posting for a featured poet. Besides an annual issue, often devoted to a theme, the site also updates on a regular basis the Sonnet Scroll, an unfurling electronic scroll of unpublished traditional and hybrid sonnets.
