Editorial Focus

Though not their only interest, Blue Horse Press has a strong like for poetry of place and the relationship between lives and landscapes. Most importantly, they seek an economy of language with a keen focus on voice and image. They like a touch of Lorca’s duende that loves ledges and wounds, Kant’s “crooked timber of humanity.” They have no interest in work whose primary focus is the American political scene.

Tips From the Editor

Blue Horse Press publishes books and chapbooks, but only on an occasional and unsolicited basis.
