Editorial Focus

Willow Springs Books is a literary press housed in Eastern Washington University’s Inland Northwest Center for Writers in Spokane. Under the direction of poet Christopher Howell and Polly Buckingham, students have the opportunity to engage with all aspects of the publishing process, including reading manuscripts, design, marketing, and editing. Willow Springs Books cares deeply about the literary community and building relationships with other small presses, as well as collaborating with local bookstores and regional universities.
